Marked and notated in pencil (sometimes red), with titles and page references on first endpaper and 'Catalogue' [v.1 &3], especially no. 77 "Kaiser, no.78 "Suisse". Provenance: inscribed on [v.1] pastedown: "Charles Warton 11th March 1835"; with a long note about expense of engraving the plates, bankruptcy of the "amateur" publisher and purchase for 30s. Binding: nineteenth-century quarter red cloth (faded), with grey paper on boards. (Poor conditions, spine wanting, leaves loose.)
