Outer leaf of white wove and marbled paper pasted to board, with a made flyleaf.Structure: EnglishEdges: plain cut, soft-edged marbling in green and red, polished Spine Lining: Slight round, square joints, continuous paper lining End Bands: Stuck-on brown and cream striped textile folded over cord core. Bookmark: Narrow purple silk ribbon glued to the centre of the spine under the stuck-on headband Boards: 2.5mm rope fibre boards, back cornered, slips 1 and 3 of 3 only laced in Covering: Tan-coloured tanned calf with a shiny surface dressing, tied-upi into back cornering, with a dark stain on the turn-ins. Tooling Spine: gold-tooled pallet at head and tail of 6 panels, with blind-tooled decoration across the centre, created by coloured flat bands tooled over with another pallet.
