2v. ; 28 cm (4to). Pencil marks on front pastedown and title page of Vol. 1. Vol. 1 upper and lower boards disbound, back pastedown with torn fragments. Vol. 2 upper boards and all leaves to page 4, pages 5-8 and 9-10 disbound. Lower boards almost disbound. All leaves to page 48 fragmented along spine and bottom edge. Provenance: Vol. 2 adhered to front pastedown, armorial bookplate with shells: 'Henry Rowland Brandreth'. In ink on front flyleaf recto 'H Shepherd Esq 1831'. Binding: Nineteenth-century full polished calf. Five raised bands, double gold-ruled, tooled in blind, black spine-labels, gold-lettered. Pale yellow endpapers.
