Loosely inserted: 1. slip headed 'Memoirs of the Martyr King. A note upon the portraits', apparently issued with the book. 2. Loosely inserted: clipping from dealer's catalogue, unrelated to provenance. Provenance: Twentieth-century bookplate: Hugh Gwynne Levick. Agnes Burwell Levick. [Agnes Burwell Levick, ne Stout, m. Hugh Gwynne Levick; they had one daughter, Elizabeth, b. 1899]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Binding: Twentieth-century full calf over boards; gold-tooled sides and spine, with arms of Charles I, in faux seventeenth-century style.
