[one word, illegible] at Leasowe Castle by her most affect. L B Challoner [crossed-out] Victoria M L Yorke 1882" [i.e. Victoria Mary Louisa Yorke (1823-1895)], and "Bequeathed by Victoria Mary Louisa Yorke to her cousin Robert Henry Hobart Cust January 1895".. Binding: Nineteenth-century black morocco binding; triple blind fillet borderblind roll on board edges; gilt roll on turn-ins; gold-tooled spine. All edges gilt.
