Trevelyan [i.e. Sir Charles Philips Trevelyan (1870-1958)] from his father [i.e. Sir George Otto Trevelyan (1838-1928)] Dec 20 1903'. On back pastedown: 'Trevelyan' in a nineteenth-century hand, W.P.
