GOT's dates of reading include: 'April 15 1925. 'A terrible and sordid story. These vile details are already the real history of Rome : only a single century after the death of Julius Caeser, and forty years from the peaceful and noble death of Augustus' : 'March 31 1902'; 'May 27 1925 Welcombe'.
