30 leaves . 26x35cm. (oblong). Mounted watercolour and pen and ink sketches of Wallington and surroundings by Emma, daughter of Sir John Trevelyan (1761-1846) and his wife Maria, whose sister Jane (d.1844) married the Rt. Hon. Spencer Perceval, and Jane Maria Perceval, Sir John & Maria and Spencer Perceval & Jane Wilson's granddaughter. With a letter from Thornton Trevelyan to Sir Charles Trevelyan (13.11.43) pasted onto rear pastedown presenting the book to him.. Binding: Half leather bound album; paper label on front board with manuscript lettering: 'Sketches of Wallington by J.M. Perceval and Emma Trevelyan.' Gilt edges.
