Binding: nineteenth-century full brown goatskin; sewn on three recessed supports; triple blind fillet border with a small gilt floral tool in the corners; gilt fillet on board edges; double gilt fillet with a small round tool in the corners on turn-ins; gilt fillet panel along length of spine containing title lettered directly onto spine, gilt leafy tool at head and tail; all edges gilt; nonpareil pattern marbled endpapers.
