Provenance: Sixteenth (or seventeenth) century inscription on final page: "Johannis Lewijs Liber" and (in different hand?) "Lodouier Libellus". Initials "T B" on binding. Binding: Sixteenth-century full calf binding; blind-tooled fillets, and initials T B on both boards; spine sewn onto four raised bands; remains of brown silk ties; fore-edge title in manuscript "Perioni[us]". Fragment of manuscript on vellum used in binding; text Latin, in two columns; gothic script (fourteenth- or fifteenth-century?), with traces of coloured intitial, now missing.
