Binding: Nineteenth-century full straight-grained calf; gilt rolled outer border with gilt stamped cornerpieces: fox's heads; multiple blind fillets to form inner panel design with gilt stamped cornerpieces: hunting horns and blind stamped fish at head and foot; rebacked in calf (20th century?), spine entirely replaced; gilt tooled spine with gilt stamped deer and birds in alternate spine compartments; spine lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'British field sports'; gilt rolled edges and turn-ins; marbled textblock edges; marbled endpapers; green ribbon marker.
