Binding: Nineteenth-century full straight-grained morocco; gilt fillets and gilt and blind rolls to form a panel design (including palmettes and oak leaves with acorns); sewn onto recessed cords; spine gilt lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'Naval achievements. MDCCXCIII. to MDCCCXVII.'; gilt rolled board edges; gilt textblock edges; gilt rolled turn-ins; red watered silk endleaves; gilt roll on endleaves (oak leaves with acorns).
