Binding: Nineteenth-century full diced green morocco; gilt and blind fillets to form an outer border; triple gilt fillet to form an inner border with gilt stamped cornerpieces: palmettes; sewn onto five recessed cords; gilt tooled decorative panel on spine, lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'Lalla Rookh'; single gilt fillet on board edges; gilt rolled turn-ins (palmette pattern); gilt textblock edges; green ribbon marker.
