Advertisement ([4]p.) inviting subscriptions for 'Illustrations and descriptions of the monumental effigies in Elford Church, Staffordshire' [1849?]. 2. Pamphlet headed 'The Salt Library', containing correspondance between John Sneyd and Charles Sp. Perceval, addressed to the Staffordshire advertiser (1871), with manuscript corrections made to text. 3. Clippings from dealer's catalogues, unrelated to provenance. Provenance: Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Subscriber's copy: 'Evelyn John Shirley' appears on subscriber's list (p. cvi) but with middle name 'John' crossed out and replaced by 'Philip'. [Evelyn John Shirley [(1788-1856); Evelyn Philip Shirley (1812-1882), antiquarian]. Nineteenth-century manuscript ink note on flyleaf (by Shirley?): 'NB.
