Binding: Nineteenth-century full green straight-grained morocco; double gilt fillet to form a border; sewn onto four raised bands; spine gilt, lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'Memoirs of Cromwell Illustrated'; gilt-rolled corners of board edges; gilt-rolled turn-ins; gilt textblock edges.
