Binding: Twentieth-century half green grained leather binding; green cloth over boards; lettered on front flyleaf: "Birdsall & Son Northampton"; binder's label: "Bound in durable leather guaranteed by the manufacturers free from mineral acid. Birdsall & Son, Northampton"; spine gilt decorated and lettered: "The Crescent and the Cross. Warburton. 1845".

Provenance

Part of the Bristol Collection. The house and contents were acquired through the National Land Fund and transferred to the National Trust in 1956
