The gold-blocking on the spine has been crushed flat, the linings, endleaves and cut and polished edges are a-typical. The endleaves in particular remind me of the work of the Brown family. It is likely that the Browne famly bought the journal in separate issues and then bought the cloth case from the publishers for each volume.
