Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Loosely inserted: several slips of manuscript notes in Norris's hand. Inscribed on flyleaf in Norris's hand: Delamere House 20/1 39 Lot 928.. Binding: Nineteenth-century full calf over boards; double gilt fillets; gilt panelled spine with leather spine label: "Dibdin's Library companion"; sewn on five raised bands. Rebacked conserving most of original spine.
