Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Inscribed on flyleaf in Norris's hand: Crosswood 11/9 46 Lot 400 10/- [Crosswood Park, Trawsgoed, Aberystwyth, seat of the Earls of Lisburne]. Binding: Nineteenth-century full calf over boards; gilt fillet; spine gilt; brown leather spine label with title 'Lempriere's Classical dictionary'; sewn on five raised bands.
