Summary
A history of the City of Quebec from its foundation until the time of writing. Book gifted by: According to the several letters enclosed in the books, this was first sought by Churchill’s daughter Mary after her father’s visit for a war conference with Franklin D Roosevelt in 1944 but was for some time unobtainable. When finally found it was sent to Churchill by Borden Clarke of Old Authors Farm, Ontario, Canada. The firm describe themselves as “A University Library and Museum service to all parts of the world”.
