Binding: Sixteenth- or seventeenth-century vellum over boards (cockled), vellum sewing supports visible, edges stained blue, spine lettered in MS 'Africae descriptio'; lower edge lettered in MS 'Leo Afr'. - Water-stained, worn at lower edge, with board showing through, front endpapers have modern replacement and old repair, pasted onto title page with cloth strips.
