Binding: Nineteenth-century full red morocco; gilt fillets and roll to form an outer border, blind fillets and roll to form an inner border; sewn onto five recessed cords; five false bands; gilt tooled spine, lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'Italian scenery'; gilt rolled corners of board edges; gilt rolled turn-ins; gilt textblock edges; blue endpapers.
