Later inscription on flyleaf: "N.B." Eighteenth-century armorial bookplate lettered The Right Honourable Wilmot Earl of Lisburne, in the Kingdom of Ireland. (Not in Franks) [i.e. Wilmot Vaughn (1730-1800), 4th Viscount Lisburne from 1766 to 1776, when he was created 1st Earl]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Loosely inserted: slip of bibliographic MS notes (by Norris?). Binding: Eighteenth-century full vellum binding over boards; dark brown leather spine label.
