Provenance: with a letter pasted onto pastedown, partially torn away, along with free front endpaper which presumably bore inscription "Dear Bernard Shaw I enclose you a [copy] of my new book in [?] guise. I am wondering if you will consent to say something about it somewhere. Your sincerely, Michael Ireland". Binding: publisher's green cloth, damaged by damp, paper printed spine label.
