With a letter laid in from the author to Bernard Shaw, dated October 19, 1942: "You were good enough to let me print a letter of yours to the Times on the collective farms in Russia. I send you a copy of the book ... which contains it." Inscribed also "With the author's compliments". Binding: publisher's blue cloth.
