Additional leaf loose with two full sides of manuscript notes commencing: "Vagueness is the curse of the absolute upon the concrete." Further pencil manuscript notes on rear endpapers, with page references on rear pastedown. Marking, corners turned, and one further annotation in text. Loosely inserted: holograoh letter draft on headed paper of Ayot St. Lawrence, Welwyn, Herts; dated: 18 June 1923; addressed "Dear Rip[?]", concerning "sending book" and interest in mysticism; apparently in hand of Charlotte Shaw. Binding: red publisher's cloth, gold lettered spine; with patterned paper dust jacket.
