Provenance: nineteenth-century armorial bookplate with swash initials, "GJHELHC" [i.e. Georgiana Jane Henrietta Eliza Lovell (1824-1910) m. Sir John Harpur Crewe, 9th Bt, in 1845]. Binding: Nineteenth-century diced calf inding, gilt decoration on spines.

Provenance

Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
