Old Belton pressmarks on flyleaf: V/6 and III.7. Binding: Calf, with decorative stamp on both boards (representing Gothick windows?), and heavy decorative brass bosses on four corners of each board (all of same date, late 18th or early 19th century). Marbled pastedowns and flyleaves, with gilt tooling on doublures. Flyleaves seem to have been scorched but without affecting text-block at all. In book-shoe.
