Loose sheet inside with manuscript of "Epitaph on the year 1806 by W.K. Spencer" (similar hand to main text). With 2 water-colour paintings of flowers following poems.

Loss of text on some leaves through cropping. Provenance: Facing first page of poems: 'Caroline Fludyer / Ayston' [= Caroline Fludyer, aft. 2nd wife of 1st earl Brownlow (1794-1824). Binding: Nineteenth-century red grained morocco, decorative gilt and blind-roll borders and spine, edges of textblock gilt. Front board stained and damaged.
