Provenance: Twentieth-century armorial bookplate (small variant), signed Badeley 1930: ‘Urban Huttleston Rogers Lord Fairhaven’ [i.e.: Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966)]. Pencil inscription on front free endpaper verso washed out. Pencil inscription on title page: "C.J. Pollard"[?]. Binding: Nineteenth-century full calf; triple gilt fillet to form an outer border; blind rolled inner border (leaves and flowers); four raised bands; gilt tooled spine; green morocco spine label: 'Rosarum mongraphia / Lindley'; gilt rolled board edges. Rebacked, twentieth-century: spine entirely replaced.
