Binding: Nineteenth-century full publisher's red cloth; blind stamped panel design on boards; gilt stamped centrepiece on upper board: Garter with gilt stamped lettering in the centre: 'Windsor and Eton.', surmounted by royal crown; blind stamped centrepiece on lower board: Garter with gilt stamped lettering in the centre: 'Windsor and Eton.', surmounted by royal crown; sewn onto three recessed cords; gilt stamped lilies on spine with gilt stamped title (in relief): 'Windsor & Eton' and names of author and publisher.
