Palmer'. Twentieth-century armorial bookplate (small variant), signed Badeley 1930: ‘Urban Huttleston Rogers Lord Fairhaven’ [i.e.: Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966)]. Binding: Nineteenth-century full publisher's red morocco; double gilt fillet and triple blind fillet to form an outer border; gilt stamped cornerpieces: lilies; gilt stamped centrepieces: Garter with gilt stamped lettering in the centre: 'Windsor and Eton.', surmounted by royal crown; sewn onto five recessed cords; gilt stamped lilies on spine with gilt stamped title (in relief): 'Windsor & Eton' and names of author and publisher; gilt rolled board edges and turn-ins; gilt textblock edges; dark blue ribbon marker.
