Provenance: Author's presentation inscription on front fly-leaf: "The Earl of Stamford & Warrington from the author". Some manuscript marginal notes [by George Harry Grey?].. Binding: 19th century straight-grained Burgundy calf binding; blind and gilt fillet and roll panels on boards, with blind centrepiece stamp; board edges and turn-ins have gilt roll decoration; gilt rolls, stamps (lyres) and title on spine; all edges gilt.
