1v. [unpaged] ; 26 x 18 cm. First page is pasted in on verso of first leaf, with engraved header of Cronkhill, Shrewsbury, where Lord and Lady Berwick initially stayed in 1919, after their marriage in Venice, while Attingham was made ready. Additional illustrative material has been tipped, pasted, or laid in, including small engraving of Attingham, engraved card of Shotton Hall, signed by Margaret Cambridge, 1925, sheet of cartoon characters "Veni … vidi … non vixi!", signed C.R.C.; U.S. Army Air Corps visiting cards and correspondence for parties held in association with the R.A.F. Station at Atcham, 1941. Amongst and in addition to regular visitors from the wider family and friendship circle, other notable names and connections in visitor entries include for example "Mary R." [Queen Consort to George V, Mary of Teck], Helen d'Abernon, Leslie Harley, Sibyl Colefax, Clough Williams-Ellis. Binding: twentieth-century tan morocco, with gilt and blind tooling to form a panel, with gilt fleurons and scrolls on centre of upper board; triple gilt fillet border on lower board; four false bands; gilt tooled spine. Marbled endpapers. [Presumably Italian bound album and perhaps a wedding gift.]
