These two volumes [G.3.20-21] formed part of the library of our father (Rev. G.S. [George Smith] Drew), & were written by Augustus Hare & his brother Archdeacon Julius Charles Hare, after whom Julius Charles Drew was named, & of whom there is an engraved picture in the possession of J.C.D., & wh. hung for many years in the study of his father, Rev. G.S.D.' Annotations: With pencil markings and underlinings throughout. Binding: Half bound in brown calf with maroon cloth over boards, blue calf spine label with gilt lettering, and marbled edges and endpapers; five raised bands on spine.
