Binding: Nineteenth-century panelled calf, single gilt fillet forming a border, gilt-tooled board edges. Sewn on three recessed cords, five false raised bands, gilt-tooled on spine. Red leather spine label, lettered in gilt: "Rastell's Chronicles". Marbled endpapers. Text-block edges dyed red. Joints splitting, upper board loose.
