xvi,624p., plates . 8vo.. Not indigenous. Half-title wanting. Provenance: Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Inscribed on flyleaf in Norris's hand: "H [i.e. Hodgson's] 25/3 38 Lot 339", with his notes "No half title" and "Marks of green [underscored] wrappers. Eckel mentions only blue wrappers".. Binding: Nineteenth-century half straight-grained red morocco binding over marbled boards; spine gilt; sewn on five raised bands.
