Slips 1 and 4 laced though 3 holes, slips 2 and 3 through 2 holes, all slips angled up in front board, down in back between entry and exit holes. No back cornering, but spine edge with internal bevel. Covering: Grey-brown tanned calf, sprinkled with a corrosive stain, polished Tooling Spine: blind-tooled 2-fillets head and tail and each side (clipping the ends of the bands) of each panel, with pallet or roll at head and tail and across bands.
