Title page supplied in nineteenth-century manuscript copy. Many pages up to the end of sig. G stained and damaged, affecting text. Some repaired. Provenance: manuscript inscription on front fly-leaf: "Thomas Peliane Thomas Pelieine Thomas Pelioenie", and in pencil "John Vpcott". Occasional manuscript marginal annotations in more than one secretary hand, mostly cropped by bisnder. Binding: seventeenth-century calf, sewn on 4 double supports. Lower board has contemporary blind-tooled calf with centrepiece. Upper board and covering a replacement with single gilt fillet border. Rebacked in sheepskin. Gilt title on spine.
