The pale green paper also used as the doublure.Structure: EnglishEdges: plain cut, all edges gilt.Spine Lining: moderate round, square joints, no evidence of linings; 6 pairs of false single bandsEnd Bands: worked L-R 12x4 in cream and brown silk over double rolled paper cores Bookmark: NoneBoards: 6mm rope fibre boards, back-cornered, Covering: full brown russia calf [genuine] Tooling Spine: gold-tooled rolls above, below and between the paired single false bands, flower head tool in centre of panels 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7; titled direct in panel 2, place and date at tail.Tooling Sides: gold-tooled roll border between double fillets; gold-tooled disk roll on board edges; gold tooled floral roll on turn-ins and leather joint.
