Binding: Sixteenth-century panelled calf binding (loose from upper board), with intersecting frame of blind thin thick thin fillets. Outer and inner panels are blank. Middle two panels formed by blind roll with fleur-de-lys, portcullis and rose patterns, with initials 'HR'. Pair of holes for ties (missing) in both boards. Blind fillets on spine. manuscript fore-edge title (faded). Manuscript waste (15th century?) on vellum at front and rear: black letter script with blue initials and red tracery.
