Manuscript inscriptions on rear fly-leaves: "Wassenburgh", a list of 29 names all in the same hand "Tho: Gilchrist Jo: Rulthie Wm: Ballfour ...", a seven line inscription in Latin, and an accounts list for household items (e.g. "3 new sheets", "2 napkins", "a pene knife", "a snuffe box") in English. Binding: sixteenth-century full calf; triple blind fillet border and panel, the panel with blind floral cornerpiece and centrepiece stamps; triple blind fillets on turn-ins. Pair of holes in both boards for ties (missing). Blind fillet panels on spine. Head of spine missing. Printed waste at front and rear.
