Manuscript inscription at head of title page (continuing on from the one on the facing fly-leaf): "1599" and "Iunij 21". Binding: sixteenth-century blind-tooled calf; sewn on four sewing supports; thin thick thin fillet border; oval centrepiece stamp; two pairs of green linen ties (stubs only); spine is very worn, with blind fillets. Thin strip of binder's manuscript waste on vellum lines the endpapers.
