Provenance: washed-out manuscript inscriptions on leaves a1r and a3r (just about visible under UV light); those on a3r may read: "Collegij [?]bligicani Sctis. Jesu leodij" [a Jesuit college in Liège?] and "Bibl: Maii". Binding: eighteenth-century full sprinkled calf; sewn on three supports; five raised bands; double blind fillet and blind dentelle roll tool border; gilt roll tool on board edges; gold-tooled spine; brown leather label with gilt title on spine, imprint and date tooled directly onto spine; red sprinkled bookblock edges; comb pattern marbled endpapers.
