Binding: Sixteenth-century dark brown calf back cover only, with late nineteenth-century olive-brown sprinkled calf front cover, spine and endpapers, gilt spine lettering, original gilt edges with horizontal manuscript spine title “Æsopus” visible. Old water and mould damage visible in gutter.
