[i.e. Philip Yorke, 1st Earl of Hardwicke (1690-1764), created Baron Hardwicke, 1733, and Earl of Hardwicke, 1754. Also used in books acquired by his successors]. Binding: nineteenth-century publisher’s quarter brown paper and brown cloth over boards, printed spine labels, printer’s waste used as spine supports. Cloth hinges torn on both volumes.
