Manuscript inscription at top of titlepages to vols. 1-2 cropped by later binding. Seventeenth-century manuscript inscription on vol. 3 titlepage: [Gk] Joan Brisso. Binding: Eighteenth-century polished sheep over boards, gilt spine tooling, single gilt fillet and floral cornerpieces on covers, gilt roll on board edges and inners, gilt edges, pale blue silk bookmarks, dark and mid- brown spine labels (missing from vol. 1; parts missing from vols. 2-3). Vol. 2 has old water stain at foot of textblock in last half of volume; vol. 3 has old water stain in first few leaves of volume.
