Summary
Lincrusta ceiling paper with leaf design hanging in situ in the Flaxley Room. Water ingress damage in this room. Main Ceiling: (Images Flaxley .E .W & .S). All ten central panels in good condition. (see Flaxley Plan for panel numbers). Six complete rectangles and four panels cut around both chimney breasts. Main design centrally and Lincrusta border paper next to the cornice of the room of a different design with the inventory number NT30283. North Elevation: from mirror looking right to left on Flaxley Plan N1 - N5. (Image Flaxley.W). Panel 1 - good condition. Panel 2 - good condition. Panel 3 - bottom LH corner of border and ceiling paper lifting. Panel 4 - good condition. Panel 5 - good condition. South Elevation: (Image Flaxley.S). From mirror looking left to right. (Images S1 - S5). Panel 1 - lifting at top join with wooden frame. Panel 2 - border lifting and torn along middle RHS of panel. Panel 3 - border paper lifting and falling away.at bottom of LHS. Panel 4 - border lifting at bottom and falling away. Panel 5 - border lifting and falling away.
