Summary
Lincrusta ceiling paper, Tudor rose design within squares hanging in situ in the Charlton Bedroom. Each square is bordered by rose motifs, leaves, stems and thorns. There is a Lincrusta border paper next to the cornice of a different design with the inventory number NT30281.2. Turret: Circular papered ceiling, with crack in surrounding plasterwork causing a tear along approx. 600mm of the paper facing North. Bedroom Ceiling: SE at joint with Turret, two thin cracks in cornice running just onto paper. North Elevation: crack in plaster cornice and tear in paper of approx. 1.2M. West Elevation: two cracks in cornice running onto paper above bed. No UV damage or water ingress to ceiling paper.
