Myddelton [i.e. Robert Edward Myddelton (1866-1949)]; crest, signed and dated: W.P.B. 1914. It is possible that Pugin himself gave this copy to Robert Myddelton Biddulph (1805-1872) who commissioned him to redesign important features of Chirk Castle from 1845 up until his death in 1852.. Binding: Russet half morocco bindings, stamped in gilt on turn-ins: 'Bumpus Ltd. Oxford St. W'. Top edges gilt. Marbled endpapers.
